Fabulous 4th of July

**Mount Vernon Parks 4th of July Closures:  Park restrooms close at 5pm (restrooms will be available at the Skagit Riverwalk throughout event), Tennis & Pickleball courts closing at 3:30pm.  Boat Launch closing at 6pm.

Join us for the Fabulous 4th of July fireworks show....a good time for the entire family!  Our spectacular firework show begins at dark.  The Skagit Riverwalk is the perfect place to join us and enjoy the best seats in the house for awesome fireworks.  

WHERE: Skagit Riverwalk

WHEN: July 4th, Fireworks at dark (approximately 10pm)

*Please leave barbeques, canopies, alcohol and fireworks at home.

*Don’t forget your lawn chair or blanket, and a flashlight to help when leaving the show.

As of November 15, 2024, all fireworks are now illegal within the City limits of Mount Vernon.  This change followed years of community input, public safety data, and a recommendation from a committee made up of residents, City Council members, and city staff.  The final decision was made by City Council in late 2023.  For more information please visit the link below.
